Week 13 Big Moments

 After all of their hard work preparing and completing their First Reconciliation, we took some time to celebrate them! The teachers planned a popcorn, movie afternoon and gave them an extra long recess! I am so proud their faith and bravery in working through their nerves :) Now we continue their amazing faith journey toward First Communion!

Some pictures from the Halloween party that I didn't get around to posting.... Thank you all for sending in snacks, treats, prizes, games, and for helping out! The kiddos had a wonderful time and I truly appreciate all of the support!

They took turns practicing reconciliation and being the priest...I think they enjoyed making up penances for each other :)

After learning about Veteran's Day and Operation Gratitude, we spent some time making cards for Veteran Care Packages!

Getting into Money Counting in Math...we ar3e doing pretty good with dimes and pennies but transitioning from counting by 10s to 5s to 1s but we are going to work hard on it!

We got to do reading centers and work on verbs-they had fun playing action word roulette-if they rolled a verb they had to do the action and if they rolled a noun then they were out.
