Day 1: Yay!!! We're here!
What a wonderful first day! They were so incredibly polite, were amazing listeners, and already hardcore roasted me-I can tell it is going to be a fun group!
They kindly obliged me by taking classroom first day photos even though they already took chalkboard sign photos at home:)
Everyone was very excited when we finally made it to lunch...they were getting a little tired of going over procedures but they handled the boredom well!
Recess finally!!!
Getting the run down on general school expectations from Mr. Veit...
Learning how to use our morning tubs :)
Playdough was a great way to start the day!
All ready for church tomorrow!
Walking feet, safe hands, eyes looking and ears listening-line up pros, ready to go!
After all the boring procedure stuff, we have to have a brain break!
All my ducklings in a row...for now lol
Cheers to getting our Jitters out with our Jitter Juice!
Adding everyone's fizzy jitters to our juice :)
After reading "First Day Jitters" we talked about how all of us might have been nervous to come to school today (even Ms. Massman) and that jitters are normal but that we have nothing to be nervous about now because we know that Ms. Massman and our classmates are all here to support and love one another! So we decorated our cups with any jitters we might have had or anything we are excited to get to in 2nd Grade and then we mixed up a couple of pitchers of Jitter Juice (Sprite Zero and Crystal Light Lemonade) and drank our Jitters away!
Ms. Massman's favorite relaxing event-COLORING!
Enjoy watching them drink their Jitters :)
Thanks for a great first day, can't wait for the rest of the week!!!
