Week 6 Fall Festivities

After a busy week of working on reading, math, language, science, and social studies skills we rewarded ourselves with a Fall Break this afternoon! The kiddos helped me clean and purge the classroom before we put all the decorations up next week and then we enjoyed Caramel Apples and some Apple Cider! The weather wasn't quite feeling the same Fall Vibe as us but we still had a good time with it!

Sorting Shapes by different attributes: it gave us a great opportunity to learn that we don't all think in the same ways and that is a good thing! God gave us all incredible ways of thinking so we have to communicate how we are thinking and processing so that others can understand the amazing and unique way that our brains work!

We got to do Reading Groups this week! Which meant that each kiddo got some Small Group Individualized Instruction while the other groups did Reading Centers like Independent Reading, Sand Trays for writing and spelling, and some Independent desk work. The kiddos had a lot of fun getting to move around and do all the Centers :)

Headed to Mass!! We are working on participating more in Mass but they have been doing a great job singing and being respectful!

In Religion we have been talking a lot about being grateful and knowing that we are Blessed! The kiddos filled in a huge poster of all of their blessings and all of the ways that they can be a blessing to others.

Fall Friday! Ms. Massman loves making a big deal out of the best season of all...FALL!! We created the vibe, had caramel apples with chocolate chips, and drank some delicious Apple Cider!!
