Second Grade Adventures with Ms. Massman

We had so much fun reconnecting today!! I loved hearing the stories of everything that I missed, we watched "Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving" and had our own Snoopy inspired Thanksgiving Feast with Popcorn, Potato Chips, Turkey, and Cranberry Juice! They put on a Thanksgiving Parade with the Balloons they made in yesterday's STEM activity and we finished off the day with a Praise Assembly- Congrats to Joelle and Group 1 who received the award from the art teacher! Have a wonderful holiday and I will see everyone in December so we can start celebrating Advent!  

 We've been working hard and having fun! Sorry for all the mismatching on the Math worksheets-there were some really tricky lessons that I wanted to get in before there was a sub all week. The kids were so excited to work on their 100 Math Facts-we tracked our progress everyday and you should have seen how amazed they were every day when they got better and better it was so sweet :) Here is a video of one of our "Proud of ourselves" Dance celebrations. Got to work with the Geoboards this week. We went looking for rainbows last week and were lucky enough to make it outside in time to catch this beautiful promise from God! Ok...so I have no idea why these did not load in order but here we are working on an Indian Corn Prayer craft-it's been fun getting to teach a bit of history and pass on Thanksgiving traditions with the kids this month!
